How to Use a Chillum
Below are instructions on how to use a Chillum.
To use it well, you will need the following:
- Substance you wish to inhale
- Foil paper
- Wet cloth
First, you will need to prepare the substance. Fill the substance into the Chillum taking care that it doesn’t drop off. Wrap the piece of wet cloth around the pipe. How to Clean a Chillum
A good, useful Chillum is a clean one. If that’s the case, it’s imperative for you to learn how to clean a Chillum. A dirty Chillum can be the medium through which you inhale some harmful stuff. The process to follow in cleaning it is similar to what is needed to clean a One Hitter, spoon, bubbler or water pipe. The items needed to clean the Chillum effectively are quite varied, but often include the following.
- Rubbing alcohol
- Pipe cleaners
- Ziplock bag
The first step is to fill the ziplock bag with enough rubbing alcohol. Next, add some salt. Shake the bag with its contents properly. Afterward, pour a few grains of salt into the Chillum’s stem. Avoid pouring too much salt as this can prevent the rubbing alcohol from going through. Turn the stem and pour enough salt into the bowl that’s on the other end too. Then, put the bowl (and stem) inside the ziplock bag before shaking everything up for around 30-40 seconds.
Lastly, scrub the Chillum using Q-tips or pipe cleaners to remove the residue.
